Privacy Policy

We treat your research, your data and your personal information with the discretion an academic engagement requires. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is protected.

1. Who we are

Research Developers Pvt. Ltd. is an academic research assistance firm registered in India and operating since 2004. Registered offices: B-52 Sector-63, Noida (UP) 201301; Sai Complex, Somanur Road, Coimbatore (TN) 641668; Madhapur, Hyderabad (TG) 500081; Raksha Tower, Anjugramam, Kanyakumari (TN) 629401. For any privacy question, contact info@researchdevelopers.com or +91 9788 888 292.

2. Information we collect

When you contact us for a consultation, engage our services, or submit work for review, we collect: (a) your name, email address, phone number and city; (b) your university, department, supervisor and research domain (only when you choose to share); (c) the research materials you send us — drafts, datasets, prior publications, supervisor comments; (d) payment information processed through our payment partners (we never store full card details on our servers); (e) standard website analytics — page visits, device type, approximate location — collected through a privacy-respecting analytics tool.

3. Why we collect it

(a) To respond to your enquiry and provide the consultation; (b) to scope, quote and deliver the engagement; (c) to assign a domain-appropriate PhD expert; (d) to maintain client communication and project records; (e) to comply with applicable tax and accounting law; (f) to improve our website and services through aggregate analytics.

4. Confidentiality of your research

This matters more than anything else in this document. Every Research Developers employee, contractor and expert is bound by a written confidentiality agreement covering all client material. We do not share your research, drafts, data or topic with any third party. We do not reuse your work — wholly or in part — in any other engagement. We do not maintain a public portfolio referencing client work. After acceptance, your supervisor and your university are the only parties who know we were involved, and only if you choose to disclose that.

5. How long we keep your data

Active project files are retained for the duration of the engagement plus six months for post-acceptance support (revisions, viva queries). After that, project files are deleted from active systems. We retain billing records and basic contact information for seven years to meet Indian tax law requirements. You may request earlier deletion of project files by writing to info@researchdevelopers.com.

6. Who we share data with

(a) Our assigned PhD expert and internal QC team — required to deliver your engagement; (b) our payment partners — only the transaction information they need; (c) statutory authorities — only when legally compelled. We do not sell, rent or trade your information with anyone for any reason.

7. Your rights

You may at any time: (a) ask what information we hold about you; (b) ask for corrections; (c) ask for deletion of project files; (d) withdraw consent for marketing communication (we send little to none); (e) raise a grievance with our office. Write to info@researchdevelopers.com.

8. Security

Project files are stored on access-controlled cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Expert and coordinator access is logged. Physical files are stored in locked cabinets in our offices. No system is perfectly secure — but we apply industry-standard safeguards and act promptly on any breach.

9. Cookies

Our website uses a minimal number of functional and analytics cookies. We do not run third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser; the site will continue to function.

10. Changes to this policy

If we revise this policy, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted.
