These terms govern any engagement between Research Developers and a scholar (you). Please read them carefully before commissioning work.
Research Developers provides academic research assistance — including thesis writing, journal publication support, data analysis, methodology design, language editing and viva preparation. We do not sit your examinations, write your viva answers, or substitute for your supervisor. Final intellectual ownership of the research rests with you and your institution.
An engagement begins when (a) you accept our written scope and quote, (b) the agreed advance payment is received, and (c) a Research Developers coordinator confirms the start in writing. Verbal agreements are not binding.
The written scope defines exactly what is included. Items outside the scope can be added through a written variation, with a corresponding adjustment to the timeline and fee. Surprise additions late in the engagement are routinely declined.
You agree to: (a) provide accurate information about your topic, supervisor and university requirements; (b) supply data, prior drafts and reference materials in a timely manner; (c) review deliverables within the agreed review windows; (d) communicate revisions clearly and in writing; (e) not represent our drafts as final examination work without your own intellectual engagement; (f) abide by your university's research ethics policy.
Within the agreed scope, revisions are unlimited until your supervisor signs off. Revisions arising from scope changes (e.g., a new chapter, a new analysis, a switch of target journal) are quoted separately.
We give honest timelines, including review and revision cycles. Delays caused by (a) late material from your side, (b) supervisor unavailability, or (c) third-party processes (peer review, plagiarism software queues) are outside our control and adjust the timeline accordingly.
Fees are quoted in Indian Rupees and are payable as agreed in the written scope — typically an advance, milestone payments and a final payment on acceptance. All fees are exclusive of applicable GST. We accept bank transfer, UPI and major cards.
If we are unable to commence the engagement after payment of the advance, the advance is refunded in full. If we deliver work that does not meet the agreed scope and is not satisfactorily revised within the unlimited-revision provision, a pro-rated refund is negotiated in good faith. Refunds are not available for work properly delivered against an accepted scope, or for delays caused by reasons listed in clause 6.
We maintain strict confidentiality of all your research material, as set out in our Privacy Policy. You agree to maintain confidentiality of our methodologies, expert assignments and internal documents.
All intellectual property in the delivered work transfers to you upon final payment. We retain no claim to the published research. We may, with your written permission, reference the engagement (anonymously) for internal training and case-study purposes.
Our maximum liability under any engagement is limited to the fees actually paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, examination outcomes, journal editorial decisions, or supervisor disagreements outside our scope.
Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control — natural disasters, internet outages, government actions, pandemics or industry-wide disruptions.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, with arbitration available under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
